My name is Chukwuemeka Ibegbulem, I am 37 years old and I live in Karlsruhe / Germany since 2004. I was born and raised in the village Umuaka in Nigeria, near the Niger delta. I founded the Emelong Foundation to support the poor and the socially deprived in my home country and to point out their problems.
Our help is restricted to the village Umuaka, my home town in Nigeria. With this target focus, we are able to supervise the projects closely and incorporate the achieved changes permanently and strongly. We are a small team of volunteers, financing our work only with donations. The organisation of our work is done in Karlsruhe, the implementation, supervision, and support of our projects are taken over by family, friends and helpers in and around Umuaka, always in close coordination with the team in Karlsruhe. At least once a year I fly back home and support wherever necessary.
